Stafford Lau Gar kung fu club's website moves to a new address
OK, let's face it, if you are looking at this news item then you already know that the Stafford Lau Gar kung fu club's website has moved from its previous location (www.stafford-lau-gar.co.uk) to a brand spanking new one (www.stafford-lau-gar.org). The reason for the change? Well we have implemented a new content management system enabling a number of people to contribute to the site by simply logging on with a web browser.
The content management software we are using is called Etomite, a PHP-based open-source offering. All you need is an ISP with PHP support and a MySQL database. What makes Etomite particularly attractive is the price; it's free! On top of that it seems to be a quality piece of kit.
