Stafford Lau Gar place second in this year's BKFA Lion Dance Championships

The Stafford Lau Gar Lion Dance team competed in this year's BKFA Lion Dance Championships on Saturday, 5th May. The team made up of 5 members of the club placed a very creditable 2nd. The event was won by The Northern Dragons Lion Dance Team for the 3rd time in succession.

The Stafford Lau Gar Kung Fu Club was established in 1975 and has been dedicated to high-quality kung fu instruction ever since. With champions in semi-contact fighting, traditional fighting and set movements the level of Lau Gar instruction available at the club is second to none.

Master Jeremy Yau

The British Kung Fu Association (BKFA) was set up in 1973 and Master Jeremy Yau, being the keeper of the Lau Gar style, was invited to be its chief Instructor.

Master Yau accepted the invitation and Lau Gar Kuen has since become Britain's most popular form of Kung Fu.
