Josh Whittall
Grade: 1st Degree Black Sash
In Josh's own words, "I started Kung Fu when I was 6 years old, my elder brother wanted to learn martial arts and I thought I'd give it a go. I found that I really enjoyed it, my brother quit after a while but I carried on until I achieved my black sash aged 12. The thing I enjoy most is the fighting but I also enjoy the sets, stick and knife defence. I'm now looking forward to learning the sword set. The teachers are great, they are firm with you but at the same time you can have a laugh with them."
Josh started giving private lessons aged 13.
