The Codsall and Albrighton Lau Gar Kung Fu Club
The Codsall and Albrighton club is overseen by Peter Hornby and is run by one of his most senior students, Paul Sabin, who is ably assisted by other senior instructors including Barry Cain.
Codsall is a club which is rapidly making a name for itself. Established in the mid 1990s, the club has expanded and attracts students of all ages from South Staffordshire, Shropshire and beyond! In a typical lesson, students learn both the traditional syllabus of Lau Gar Kung Fu, and then are able to participate in the more sporting aspects of the style - semi-contact, and light sparring. There are also sessions dedicated to kick-boxing and even specialised aerobics and keep fit classes.
The club caters for students of all ages and levels from the newest beginner to black sash grades. Feel free to pop down and have a chat to Paul or better still come down and have a go yourself.
Following renovations at the Codsall Leisure Centre the Codsall Lau Gar club is now using the fantastic new dance studio which has turned out to provide an excellent training environment.
