High Fives for Stafford, Codsall and Cannock Lau Gar Students

More Black Sash Success for Stafford Clubs!

Hi All,
I am pleased to report on the brilliant successes of some of our club members at recent Black Sash Gradings. These results have been achieved through loads & loads of hard work and dedication and I take great delight in seeing their hard work receive such recognition. I’m sure they would all like to express their thanks to their fellow students who have trained alongside them and also the fantastic support they also receive from all the instructors in our clubs.

Nik receives his 1st Degree certificate and sash from Pete. “He has added another one to the long list of students coming through the club and achieving his 1st Degree. He certainly put in a lot of graft to gain this significant milestone. I look forward to seeing him gaining further success in his quest to learn and develop his Lau Gar skills,” stated Pete.

Josh Whittall
Josh receives his 1st Degree certificate and sash from Pete. “We are overjoyed that Josh has reached this impressive target so early in his life. He is, as far as we know, one of the youngest ever to take the 1st Degree grading. His success on the fighting circuit certainly helped to give him the confidence to deliver on the day. He came through with flying colours, congratulations,” said Pete.

2nd Degree Black Sash Successes

Master Yau is the sole judge for second degree and above grading, so a pretty daunting task.

Gil receives his 3rd Degree certificate and sash from Master Yau whilst training on this year’s Summer Course. “He trained exceptionally hard, sometimes 5-6 times a week, drilling his stick sets, in order to achieve this success, thoroughly well deserved. He can be delighted with the very high standard he showed on the grading. I look forward to him improving even more for his 4th degree grading,” enthused Pete.
