We are pleased to announce that Amy Roe has achieved her 1st Degree Black Sash at the tender age of 14. Amy took the grading in April 2009 and was awarded her sash by instructors Peter Hornby & Randall Salmon. Amy now joins the ranks of the instructors.
The Stafford Lau Gar Kung Fu Club was established in 1975 and has been dedicated to high-quality kung fu instruction ever since. With champions in semi-contact fighting, traditional fighting and set movements the level of Lau Gar instruction available at the club is second to none.
The British Kung Fu Association (BKFA) was set up in 1973 and Master Jeremy Yau, being the keeper of the Lau Gar style, was invited to be its chief Instructor.
Master Yau accepted the invitation and Lau Gar Kuen has since become Britain's most popular form of Kung Fu.
