West Midlands Lau Gar Competition 08
The West Midlands Tournament is coming up...
Every year clubs in the Stafford area get together for a friendly competition where our students can have a go at competition fighting. The tournament is geared towards the inexperienced fighters of all ages and grades. If you’ve never fought in a competition before or if you just want to get some more experience then this event is for you.
There will be a warm up to prepare participants for the competition and to explain the rules so don't be concerned if you don't know them. On the day competitors will be split into groups based on grade, ability and size so don’t worry about having to fight someone bigger or better than you!
All participants will receive a certificate and there will be medals for group winners.
We will be able to provide pads on the day with the exception of gum shields and groin guards. Competitors are asked to ensure they have their own.
The competition is to be held on the 28th September 2008 form 11am to 4pm.
